As a believer, this is a question I often get from unbelievers who don’t understand why a good God, a God of love, allows suffering to happen to innocent people.
Thank you for your words. I’ve thought about this and I truly do feel like suffering has to happen to lay people bare and surrender and do the work we can to grow in this lifetime. It is a hard reality but truth is not all sunshine and butterflies and god is truth not only comfort.
Without Him, how lost I would be! He brings us through so much.
